Sales Support Specialist


Fluid Marine (“FLUID”,, North America’s leading manufacturer of commercial rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), is based in Franklinton, North Carolina. The Sales Support Specialist (“Specialist”) assists the front-line sales team.  Daily activities will include assisting external and internal sales efforts, preparing quotes, communicating with manufacturing staff and helping ensure deliverables are met on time.  The Specialist will also communicate with customers to provide information, make sure invoicing is accurate and help to collect payment. The Specialist serves as the ‘hub’ among salespeople, client and production, understanding where sales opportunities are and ensuring smooth sales operations, including RFP review and helping FLUID manage its timelines to meet sales deadlines and exceed customers’ expectations.

The Specialist is or will become an expert in HubSpot, FLUID’s CRM system.  The Specialist will have primary responsibility to enter sales data, keep quotes and sales information accurate and utilize HubSpot to manage the calendars of the external and internal sales force. The Specialist will use HubSpot to generate reports used for sales reporting, forecasting, and cash flow, among others.

In addition, the Specialist performs various administrative functions, including coordinate meetings, arrange travel, receive mail, greet guests, managing office vendors (cleaning people, pest control, etc.), order office supplies, and ensure there are drinks/food for guests.


  • Daily assist with internal and external sales processes
  • Create quotes, manage sales process in coordination with internal and external salespeople
  • Process data and generate accurate reports for management
  • Be the gate keeper for CRM “HubSpot”
  • Maximize communication between sales and manufacturing
  • Various office administrative activities


  • Ability to follow sales process and move forward efficiently and accurately.
  • Team-oriented, strong communication and problem-solving skills oriented toward sales.
  • Expert level experience using CRM as primary tool to organize daily activities for self and others
  • Experience with B2G business process, not necessarily the marine industry.
